What, the $15 sneaks are going to be cut to $13.75? Starbury is the best street baller in the NBA. Unfortunately, street ball and NBA ball, while related, aren't the same thing (which is why the AND-1 guys aren't getting drafted), and so Starbury's massive talents are wasted in what is still somehow a team sport. (If the Harlem Globetrotters were still as popular as they were 30 years ago, that would be his friggin' calling.) That said, if we're being asked to take sides in this one, I've got him. He may not be the smartest guy ever, but he seems like a decent cat, and I'm astonished that Isiah Thomas hasn't run out of favors yet. He really is a dick, isn't he.

This is so sad, my basketball team is devolved to who is the bigger douche!?! A pox on both their houses!! Then Marbury's dogfighting comments and now he wants to go home after his lousy performance at home against Miami. If he's got something on Isiah, outside of photos of him killing someone, will it make any difference? James Dolan won't fire Isiah. Marbury should have been benched 2 years ago. He's not a draw, he doesn't play any defense, so they suck with him, so what's the big deal if they suck without him. I just wish David Stern could fire everyone from the ownership on down. Maybe, install a GM, like Rozell did with the Giants in the seventies... please I'm begging for help...

Marbury's also the one who didn't see the problem with dogfighting, because "people shoot deers," and "It's a sport, right?" Isiah is a tool, and he's been a tool for years. The fact that he's able to run one of the most historically valuable teams in the league straight into the ground is amazing.

When I saw Marbury miss the 3 pointer at the end of the Miami game I knew this season was over. You get paid a dump truck full of money to make shots like that or make enough shots during a game not to have to try & scramble a tie in the last second. I'm with MrNix...everyone looks like an idiot and it ain't getting better. Meh.
i_cola is voicing my intial thoughts on thoughs on the matter but I'm trying to keep positive. If this gets Zeke out of NY then I am for all it. I hope the ownership sides with Steph and fires Thomas and gets a real coach and GM to replace him. I don't how much of the settelment the Dolan's pick up but I hope however much it is is finally enough for them to think he is despensible. For too long Zeke has been allowed to go bat shit crazy ruining the Knicks and he needs to fucking go. Personel-wise, I think this team can work. Randolph, Lee and Curry will only get better (especially under the tutelage of a real coah) and they will make for a formidable front court. If they can get a new GM who can dump Steph and get the team out of salary cap hell than they can build around this core and at least give me an interesting product. I was super optamisitic during the preseason and I refuse to fell let down, yet.
